HP announces Victus range of gaming laptops, launches new Omen 16, Omen 17 models



HP has refreshed its series of laptops this week, through the beginning of the Victus range. Its role is to offer top endowments at an affordable price, below those practiced in the Pavilion and Omen ranges. Speaking of Omen, new models of HP Omen 16 and HP Omen 17 laptops.

HP loser 16

We start with the HP Victus 16, a $ 799 aggressively priced laptop. It is coming next month and will be sold through HP.com and other retailers. The lower price was achieved by using recycled plastic from the oceans. On board we find a 16-inch Quad HD screen with 165 Hz refresh rate and Eyesafe technology, for protection against blue light. These new models received Intel Core i7 Gen 11 and Ryzen 9 5900HX processors, as well as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards (Omen 16), while Omen 17 can be configured up to Core i9 and RTX 3080. They have Quad HD IPS screens with 165 Hz refresh rate, 3 ms response time and 100% sRGB coverage. They have TUV Rheinland certification, keyboards with lighting per Key and up to 32 GB RAM. They also come with up to 1 TB of PCie Gen 4 SSD storage, in RAID 0. The HP Omen 16 offers an 83 Whr battery and up to 9 hours of battery life.

Omen 16 starts at $ 1,050 with AMD CPU.
