The term BI Checking has changed to OJK Financial Information Services System (SLIK). In fact, BI Checking, which is now SLIK OJK, has the same meaning and function.

What is BI Checking or SLIK OJK?
BI Checking, which is now SLIK OJK, is an information service to find out the history or trace of a debtor’s credit score or loan. In this way, a person’s good or bad credit record will be recorded in the OJK’s SLIK.
Reported by the official OJK website, the OJK SLIK service aims to support the implementation of tasks and carry out supervision for information in the financial sector or in order to improve discipline in the financial industry.
The existence of the OJK SLIK can also be used to expedite the process of providing funds, assessing the quality of debtors, and verifying cooperation between SLIK reporters and third parties.
Here, the debtor can request debtor information on behalf of the debtor concerned from the OJK or from the SLIK reporter. So, when someone wants to carry out the credit application process, for example a house (KPR) or vehicle, they need to check their credit score at SLIK OJK.
How to Check BI Checking (SLIK OJK)
Now, the way to check BI checking online is via the site idebku.ojk.go.id. Because it can be done online, we don’t need to queue at the OJK office.

1. Via the iDebku site
Before checking BI Checking on this site, you need to prepare supporting documents first, which are as follows.
– For individual debtors:
For Indonesian citizens (WNI), this is a photo of themselves and a photo with KTP, for foreign citizens (WNA) a photo/scan of the original passport, and for debtors who have died, this is a copy of the death certificate or heir certificate.
– Business entity debtors:
photo/scan of the management’s identity card, be it a KTP or passport, a copy of the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), a copy of the proof or deed of establishment of the business entity, a copy of the articles of association and authority of the management.

After preparing supporting documents, all you have to do is follow the steps to check the OJK SLIK below:
Open the “Registration” page. Fill in the requested data, starting from the type of debtor, type of identity, nationality, identity number, to the available captcha code. Make sure the information is correct and appropriate. If it is appropriate, click “Next” to continue filling in the OJ SLIK form. Upload several supporting documents. Click the “Submit Application” button. After successful registration, the applicant will get a registration number. Applicants can check the status of the application in the “Service Status” menu. by filling in the registration number that has been obtained. Later, the OJK will process the iDeb application via the applicant’s email no later than 1 working day (after registration is carried out).

2. Through the IDScore.id website
Open the www.idscore.idLogin page by entering your username and password. If you don’t have an account, you need to register first, and follow the steps and conditions requested. If you are logged in, select the “Check Your Credit Score Now” menu.
3. Via the Life Score Application
Open the Life Score application (if you don’t have it, you can download it via the App Store or Play Store) Login Fill in the personal data requested to show your credit score
4. Via the Cekaja.com website
Open the “Check Your Score” button page at the top right of the screen. Fill in the form by completing the requested data. Follow to the end until information about your credit history score appears.
