Erling Braut Haaland back to prove its sharpness, moment Borussia Dortmund beat Club Brugge 3-0. The Norwegian striker appeared terrible.
Haaland is a mainstay of Dortmund, when hosting Club Brugge on the fourth matchday of Group F Champions League at Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund, Wednesday (11/25/2020) in the morning WIB. The 20-year-old striker succeeded in becoming a scourge for the visitors.
Haaland bought up two Dortmund goals in that match. Each of them played in the 18th and 60th minutes, all through an open play scheme. Jadon Sancho scored one Dortmund winner.
For Haaland, two goals against Club Brugge ensured him a record. The former RB Salzburg striker became the first player to score 15 goals in his first 12 matches in the Champions League.
Of the 15 goals, six of them were scored by Haaland in this season’s competition. The player who has just won the 2020 Golden Boy Award is the top scorer so far, past Marcus Rashford and Alvaro Morata (5), Diogo Jota (4) and Bruno Fernandes (3).
Haaland continued his sharpness, after in the last Bundesliga match he also performed brilliantly. When Dortmund beat Hertha Berlin 5-2, Haaland scored four goals.
In total, Haaland has scored 17 goals in 13 appearances for Dortmund this season. He has scored other goals in the Bundesliga (10) and the German Super Cup (1).
After the match against Club Brugge, Haaland also harvested praise. His colleagues considered that Haaland was indeed an extraordinary player.
“He was incredible. Six goals in two games, and I’m sure there were many more before. He was joking. Now, he is one of the best strikers in Europe, and it is amazing to play with him,” said Jude Bellingham, on the official UEFA website.
