The income limits change every three months. The new limits apply from December 1, 2022 to December 28 February 2023.

– From December this year to February 2023, the higher one grain± sure gain is the amount PLN 4,536.50 gross. Who is not affected by the limit? What can ZUS reduce or suspend?

ZUS will not reduce or suspend benefits to those who:

  • are entitled to an old-age pension and have reached the statutory retirement age. Exceptions are those for whom ZUS has increased the calculated old-age pension to the amount of the minimum benefit (up to PLN 1,200 gross). In this case, if the income from work exceeds the amount of the increase in the minimum old-age pension, the old-age pension will be paid to a lesser extent, ie without an allowance at the minimum;
  • are entitled to a partial pension;
  • they are entitled to a war invalid’s pension for their stay in the camp and in places of isolation or to a survivor’s pension after such invalids;
  • are entitled to a military disability pension in connection with military service or a survivor’s pension after a soldier whose death is related to military service;
  • collect survivor’s pensions from those entitled to such benefits;

ZUS may reduce or suspend:

  • retirement;
  • transitional pension;
  • teachers’ compensation allowance;
  • disability pension.
