Who can be vaccinated?

Adolescents 12-17 years old can access the Pfizer and Moderna platforms as the first dose of the Covid vaccine, as well as pregnant women with 12 weeks of gestation, while all other remaining platforms are available for people 18 years onwards.

Second and third doses

Meanwhile, the second dose is intended for those who have completed a four-week interval if the AstraZeneca, Moderna, Sputnik V, CoronaVac and Sinopharm platforms have been applied as the first dose, while only three weeks are required for Pfizer .

As for the third dose, adolescents between 16 and 17 years of age can apply the Pfizer, as long as they have completed their vaccination schedule with a minimum interval of 4 months, as well as pregnant women with 12 weeks of gestation, who must have a minimum interval of 4 months and they will also receive the Pfizer.

Finally, for people 18 years of age and older and health personnel who have been immunized up to the second dose at home or abroad, the platforms of Pfizer, Modera and AstraZeneca are destined as booster doses.

Those that have completed an interval of 4 months may be inoculated for the third time and with any of the platforms. However, there is an exception for people who have been immunized with Janssen (J&J), since they can only receive Pfizer or Moderna and, in addition, they can do so with a minimum interval of 3 months.

For none of the cases the termination of the identity card is taken into account and the site where any of the previous doses has been applied does not influence either.

Vaccination of children
