Housing in full flame – does not have control over all residents

The police inform just after 6 pm that there is a full fire in a detached house in Fyllingsdalen in Bergen.

The police state that the home has been set on fire.

– There are 10 people registered at the address. There must have been several residents on both the first and second floors of the home. But we do not know how many in total were present when the fire broke out. We are working on evacuating and locating the residents, says operations manager Tatjana Knappen at the West police district to TV 2.

The fire brigade has started the extinguishing work and smoke divers have entered the home to look for people.

– The roof of the house has collapsed. Smoke divers have withdrawn, the fire brigade informs at 18.30.

Øvre Fyllingsvei is closed due to the fire, Vegtrafikksentralen reports.
