House Russov, the newspaper writes, was opened after the first stage of restoration in December 2019. The cost of the work cost the city 150 million hryvnia.
There are no funds for the restoration of the building’s interiors yet.
In January 2021, the directors of the contractor company were suspected of causing damage to the city in the amount of UAH 5 million. For several months, the woman introduced deliberately false data into the acts of acceptance of the completed construction work, overestimating their volumes. She was taken into custody.
According to journalists, as a result of the work, about 30% of the facade elements were damaged and all authentic decorative elements of the interior decoration were destroyed.
