Horse Passion 2022: Avignon City Hall

At the crossroads of Europe and the Mediterranean, Cheval Passion is the equestrian rendezvous of the South and one of the very first equestrian events in France. For more than 30 years, the show has presented the latest equipment, innovations and services in the sector to sport and leisure riders, as well as to all equestrian arts enthusiasts.

The Cheval Passion 2022 show will be held on the theme of ‘The magic of equestrian arts’ from January 19 to 23 in Avignon.

This Saturday, January 15, take advantage of a free pony initiation for children from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Parc de l’Abbaye Saint RUF

The ticket office for the show and the gala des Crinières d’Or, the Cheval Passion show, is open for reservations.

Avignon Tourisme and its partners are preparing an attractive and diverse program capable of appealing to all riders: competitors, hikers, beginners or experts. The show is divided into 6 covered buildings hosting 250 exhibitor stands, 6 other buildings fitted out for competitions, shows and events and outdoor areas with demonstration areas and boxes.

For 5 days, more than a thousand horses will stop in Avignon to take part in the major events of the show: the gala of the Golden Manes, the Pony Passion shows, the equestrian competitions (western disciplines, working equitation, sorting livestock, etc.), the large Federal Club, the equestrian Cabaret, conferences, etc.

Cheval Passion and the gala des Crinières d’Or are organized by Avignon Tourisme with the support of the City of Avignon, Greater Avignon, the Department of Vaucluse, the Southern Region, the French Riding Federation, the Regional Committee of Equitation Provence Côte d’Azur, the French Institute for Horses and Equitation, DPAE and corporate partners.
