Bloodthirsty like Count Dracula: That’s probably the best way to describe 24-year-old Thabang M. after a horrific assassination attempt on his mother. After 53-year-old Kedisaletse Elizbeth M. failed to give her son money for cannabis on May 9, 2022, the situation escalated.

The young man is said to have first stabbed his mother to death in the family home in the town of Koster, and then in the style of a Vampires her blood drank from a stab wound in the neck. This is reported by the “Daily Star”. Thabang’s twin brother had witnessed the horrific act. Police found Kedisaletse dead with multiple stab wounds in a hut on the northwestern estate of South Africa along with her bloodied son. Thabang M. confessed on Monday 30 May focused guilty.
Aunts and twin brother convict the murder
Two aunts called for life imprisonment for Thabang outside of court. He committed “one of the worst sins in the country”. Aunt Naomi said, “The court can’t even try to bail him. He has to go to prison for a long time.” The family doesn’t expect to ever see Thabang again. Aunt Bertha added, “He was a problematic kid.” Thabo, the alleged killer’s twin brother, has vowed never to accept an apology from Thabang. Kedisaletse leaves three other adult children (the two sons Bareng and Buti, a daughter named Baung). Thabang is due to appear in court again on July 7.
