Hooked up – DFB left by all good spirits! – Bundesliga

It can no longer be overlooked that there is a dramatic shift in acceptance in German football.

While the DFL continues the interrupted season with ghost games – and is admired by the whole world – the DFB now seems to have been abandoned by all good ghosts!

The 3rd division, which is responsible for the DFB, sinks into total chaos when trying to get a restart as well. Clubs and politics are upset. And yesterday BILD reported on a violent dispute between Bayern boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and DFB president Fritz Keller.

After the German Champions League participants FC Bayern, BVB, Leipzig and Leverkusen had provided a solidarity fund in the amount of 20 million euros, whereby 7.5 million were expressly reserved for the 3rd league and the women’s Bundesliga, you can wonder why Keller bites the hand that feeds his clubs.

In a “Spiegel” interview he said at the weekend: “You can see what it leads to when the new rich, some of whom are also on the ball in the Bundesliga, flaunt their money. This big boil is on everyone’s feet. ”

The DFB should buy a broom and sweep it on its doorstep, Rummenigge countered. Others consider a bucket excavator to be more suitable.

Everything was supposed to be different when Keller, the winemaker and star restaurateur from Kaiserstuhl, was chosen on September 27 last year. A completely different DFB president, under which responsibility is divided over several shoulders. So it was planned.

So far, only the outfit was strikingly different when he appeared in the ZDF sports studio. Rolled up jeans and red socks – a DFB president had never been seen like this. Unfortunately, his statements are less brave. Critics tend to consider them mostly without substance. He often appears to be poorly prepared, and there is still no waiting for a real fragrance brand to this day.

“Word break instead of departure” was the title of the “Süddeutsche”. When he took office, Keller said that he did not want any posts in the FIFA World Association or the European association Uefa. For weeks now, however, there has been no dispute that he is aiming for a board position under the controversial FIFA President Infantino in 2021.

His deputy Rainer Koch is already sitting in the Uefa. For many years, kingmaker again and again, never in the first row, but never offside in the case of royal murders.

He said he had talked to Rummenigge yesterday. Everything was all right again. The professionals from the Bundesliga, however, who were very active in the selection and enthronement of the new DFB president, go to the former board of the

In the “Spiegel” interview, he said: “I don’t come from politics, I am independent. And I’m gone faster than I came here if something’s going on here that doesn’t suit me. ”
