Honor MagicBook 16 Pro: Unveiling the Powerful, AI-Powered Laptop with a Stunning Design!

The company Honor played a lot with the design of the new product, which is why the powerful laptop looks so compact at first glance. On all sides, the sidewalls are beveled and slimmed down in various ways, so that the device has a much thinner impression.

Only when you take the device in your hand will you realize that it is definitely not a small thing. It weighs almost two kilograms. On the other hand, it is a laptop with a generous 16-inch display. And considering all the equipment offered, the weight is more or less adequate.

A white variant was exhibited directly at the exhibition center in Barcelona, where the all-metal body is covered with paint thanks to the special 3D Coloring Spray Metallic technology. In the light, the lid with the display casts various reflections and looks decidedly unglamorous.

It uses artificial intelligence

The most interesting thing, of course, is hidden inside the new machine. First of all, we are talking about the powerful sixteen-core Intel Core Ultra 7 155H chip. Specifically, it has six powerful cores, eight efficient cores and two cores with low power consumption.

Thanks to this, the laptop can work on the battery for up to 12 hours, because it uses the cores of the processor depending on how you work with it. When you’re just browsing the Internet, efficient and energy-efficient cores are enough, thanks to which the battery life is extended. Conversely, when the highest possible performance is needed, the other cores are also activated.

At the same time, the MagicBook 16 Pro will also be sufficient for modern games with higher details, as graphics cards from the GeForce RTX 40 family from Nvidia will be hidden in its guts. Today, these are commonly installed in portable gaming stations.

The manufacturer also boasts a special OS Turbo X mode that uses artificial intelligence (AI). If necessary, it can activate the high-performance mode and thus make full use of the offered system resources, at the same time it minimizes latency and adjusts the cooling system.

Great display and six speakers

As the name itself suggests, the MagicBook Pro 16 is equipped with a 16-inch display. Specifically, it is a FullView panel with very thin frames, which offers a resolution of 3072 × 1920 pixels, 100% support for the wide sRGB gamut and a high refresh rate of 165 Hz. It comes in handy when playing games.

The TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light levels (hardware solution) and the TÜV Rheinland certification for flicker-free screens also deserve to be highlighted in the case of a used screen. Thus, the laptop should not excessively strain the eyes while working.

The icing on the cake is the integration of six speakers – four for low and two for high frequencies. According to the manufacturer, it is also the first surround audio notebook based on Windows PC.

In the first wave, the MagicBook Pro 16 will only be offered in its home country of China. Nevertheless, Honor representatives promised at the MWC 2024 trade fair that the new product will also reach other markets around the middle of the year. And Central Europe should not be missing among them. However, pricing and other availability details will be finalized at a later date.
