Honda Prospect Motor recently released their newest champion for the LSUV class, namely the Honda All New BR-V. This car fills a busy segment in Indonesia and challenges the Xpander Cross, XL7 to the Rush-Terios duo.
The All New BR-V is now no longer a forced SUV or an SUV MPV, but has used a new platform built on the concept, the Honda N7X. It looks scary, similar to the N7X and has a thick SUV aura.

Meanwhile, from the engine sector, the All New BR-V uses the City Hatchback kitchen runway. The All New BR-V uses a 1.5L DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine, 16 valve i-VTEC which can produce a maximum power of 121 PS at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The All New Honda BR-V is available in 4 variants with a choice of CVT and Manual transmissions.
The All New BR-V is available in 5 variants, including S (M/T), E (CVT), E (M/T), Prestige CVT, and Prestige with Honda Sensing (CVT). This 7-seater low SUV comes in 5 color options, Premium Opal White Pearl, which is a new color, Taffeta White, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, and Crystal Black Pearl.
Regarding the price, Honda Prospect Motor has not officially released it because it is still doing calculations, plus production will only start in December 2021. Consumers who place orders this year will only be sent from January 2022. However, Honda says that the cheapest price for the All New BR-V is at Rp 260 million.
Now! The All New BR-V is still the first in the Low SUV (LSUV) class to have the Honda Sensing active safety feature package. Previously this feature was only available on the Honda CR-V, Accord, and Odyssey. However, on the BR-V, the Sensing feature is only available on the All New BR-V Prestige variant with Honda Sensing (the highest type).
