Muscat: 8 January 2023 was announced as a public holiday for departments working under the Royal Oman Police (ROP) after official working hours. The holiday was announced as part of Police Day.

Meanwhile, the Royal Oman Police said 24-hour police stations would operate normally on Jan. 8. The officials also explained that all the services of those police stations will be provided as usual.
