Kevin Hofland threatens to fall victim to a power struggle at Fortuna Sittard. The trainer has come under heavy fire after the disappointing performance of his team in recent weeks and has lost his credit with owner Isitan Gün.

The Turkish owner believes that Hofland is not getting enough from the available player material in Sittard. The ambitions were there prior to this season at Fortuna, but after eight games in the Eredivisie Hofland and his men are in last place with three points from eight matches.
The relationship between Gün and Hofland has not been good for a long time. The trainer has been critical of the Limburg club’s policy in recent seasons.
