After five games without a win, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is fighting for the turnaround at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday (3:30 p.m. / Sky). Sebastian Hoeneß’s team urgently needs points in the Bundesliga so as not to lose touch with the European Cup places. The 39-year-old has to cope with numerous failures, including offensive man Christoph Baumgartner with a yellow card.
“We are hunters now, the season is not over. Of course we would have liked to have worked out a different starting position,” said Hoeneß before the 31st matchday. Hoffenheim returned from their last two away trips to Hertha BSC and RB Leipzig with a 0-3 draw.
