Services for people with HIV / AIDS have been served at the Gogagoman Health Center since 2019.
“The medicine comes directly from the central government,” he explained.
HIV / AIDS sufferers as BMR take routine medication at the Gogagoman Health Center.
“But it all depends on the patient’s consent, whether we want it or not, we are not allowed to use force or intimidation,” he explained.
He explained that people do not need to feel afraid, or even discriminate with HIV / AIDS sufferers, because the disease is only transmitted through sex, needles, transmission from mother to baby.
“So there is no need to be afraid to live with people with HIV / AIDS. Many patients die because of discrimination,” he said.
Hariyanti also explained that she has also collaborated with internal medicine doctors, if HIV / AIDS symptoms are found, they will immediately report it, to be followed up.
“We are also preparing a free inspection service at the Health Office, and the results will only be submitted to the person, the data remains confidential,” he explained. (amg)
