Overnight stays in the Swiss hotel industry suffered from a ‘historic’ fall in the first half of the year, plunging 47.5% to 9.9 million units.
Foreign demand collapsed by 60.1% and local demand by 32.4%, the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) said on Tuesday.
