Did we hear 110 inches and 10,000 nits?

Hisense has already entered the European and Nordic TV market, and next year we can expect even more – and larger – TV models from the Chinese manufacturer. Including the flagship model 110UX!
Hisense has already revealed the upcoming top model for 2024, which was recently honored with a innovation award ahead of CES 2024 in Las Vegas.
The electronics fair doesn’t actually open until January, but according to tradition, innovation awards – CES Innovation Awards – are handed out in advance, to create buzz about the hottest products. And the Hisense 110UX is definitely one of the models we can’t wait to be dazzled by.
Hisense 110UX: LCD TV with powerful brightness
Hisense claims that the new top model will be able to deliver a whopping 10,000 nits with peak brightness – the highest from a consumer display ever. The very brightest TVs today are between 2000 and 4000 nits at most.
The strong increase in brightness is made possible through an extra sophisticated MiniLED rear light – ULED X – which consists of as many as 40,000 dimming zones with 24 volt high-efficiency LEDs.
The top model also manages to reproduce an impressively wide color spectrum, a whopping 95% of BT. 2020 color space according to Hisense. This must not be confused with the much smaller DCI-P3 color space, which is usually referred to.
Hisense has shown some editions of the 110-incher on previous occasions, but it looks like the specs have been trimmed for 2024. From what we understand, it still has 4K resolution.
Hisense says that they use new panel technology on this screen, including new materials within quantum dots, and have a special anti-reflection filter that minimizes “mirroring” of the surroundings.
The 110-inch is also delivered with an integrated floor shelf and sound system, which should make this a complete TV for the really discerning.
Sharp and bright
This Hisense model has impressive sharpness and brightness, but the U7K lacks a bit on the app front.
Price and availability
Hisense has not revealed how much this swearing will cost yet, nor what power consumption we can expect at full speed! But we expect to see and hear more when we head to CES 2024 in Las Vegas in January.
Who knows, maybe Hisense has plans to outshine The Sphere? Anyway, we’re looking forward to it!
