His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of keeping up with developments in all areas of serving community members and improving them continuously.
Pointing to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, towards adopting the best standards in energy saving and adopting a sustainable lifestyle that supports the country’s comprehensive development axes.
This came when His Highness received, in his office at the Amiri Diwan, Engineer Yousef Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of the Union for Water and Electricity.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the Union Water and Electricity projects and initiatives, and its strategic plans in providing services according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
His Highness also reviewed the best practices followed, and current and future projects, in the field of electricity and water services that support the infrastructure requirements of the country and the Emirate of Fujairah, and contribute to raising community awareness regarding the environment, preserving natural resources, rationalizing energy consumption, and improving the quality of people’s lives.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah appreciated the efforts of the Union of Water and Electricity through its community initiatives and services, and its strategic directions as an active partner in supporting national efforts towards the field of environmental and climate action in the country.
In addition, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received – separately – in his office at the Emiri Diwan – Antoine Delcour, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the State, and Faisal Niaz Tirmidhi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State. His Highness welcomed the two ambassadors who came to greet His Highness, wishing them continued success in carrying out their work duties. In the two meetings, bilateral relations, common interests, and ways to develop them in various fields were reviewed.
