Highly expensive at stations. From June 95 petrol up by PLN 0.47. Experts: No chance for cheaper fuels

The halfway point is behind us holidays. As we read in the BM Reflex report, hikes significantly slowed down in the second half of July cen gasoline and diesel oil at stations, while the prices of autogas grew dynamically. Nevertheless, since June, when we recorded the first price increase in gas stations after more than two months, 95 gasoline went up by PLN 0.47 / l, Pb98 by PLN 0.17 / l, diesel by PLN 0.13 / l and autogas by PLN 0.44 / l.

Expensive fuels in Poland

Medium fuel prices as at 29 July 2021, they increased to the level respectively for: 95 lead-free petrol – 5.72 PLN / l, 98 lead-free petrol – 5.93 PLN / l, diesel – 5.42 PLN / l and autogas – 2.73 PLN /NS. In the past week, the prices of gasoline and oil increased by PLN 0.01 / l on average, while the prices of autogas by PLN 0.11 / l.

Last week’s drop in wholesale prices was fully offset by the recent increases, which postpones the chance for cheaper fuels. Next week, the probability of sharp changes in Pb and ON prices is small, but changes in prices at individual stations cannot be ruled out. In the case of LPG, we can see an increase in the average price level to PLN 0.05 / l.

More expensive than a year ago

Compared to the previous year, 95 and 98 petrol are more expensive by 33 percent, respectively. and 29 percent, diesel by 27 percent. and autogas by 36 percent.
