High on Life: Release, Success, and Potential PlayStation Port

High on Life may not have been the most prominent release of 2022, but when it launched last December, it received high praise from players, which translated into the widespread success the game enjoyed. Originally released as an exclusive game for Xbox consoles, developer Squanch Games now seems to be preparing to bring the game to PlayStation consoles as well.

While the PS5 and PS4 versions of High on Life have not yet been officially revealed, they were recently spotted on the PlayStation Store backend by the PS4 update tracker Orbis Patches (via @Knoebelbroet on Twitter). The game recently received an update on PlayStation, suggesting that an announcement and release could happen soon.

Upon release in December, High on Life had the largest Game Pass launch ever for a third-party title. In April, Squanch Games announced that it had reached over 7.5 million players since its release.

Last month, during the presentation of Xbox Games Showcase Extended, an expansion titled High on Knife was also revealed.

High on Life is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
