The buildup of cholesterol can clog the blood vessels of the feet and hands. This buildup of cholesterol can occur continuously and make hands and feet feel sore. The tingling sensation felt in this area of the body can also indicate very high cholesterol levels.
The American Academy of Dermatology Association says small, yellow, flesh-colored or red bumps that are tender can indicate high cholesterol levels. These lumps appear on the elbows, joints, tendons, knees, hands or feet.
Reporting from the Express, Saturday (3/19/2022) this can be a lump or cholesterol deposit, a condition due to high cholesterol levels or other serious health problems such as pancreatitis. Some lumps can be very small, while others can be larger than three inches in diameter.

Cholesterol fatty deposits called xanthomas can appear in the folds of the hands. According to Winchester Hospital, xanthomas range in size from very small to three inches.
Although performing a blood test is a reliable way to determine cholesterol levels, Indian researchers have proven that the presence of different levels of total cholesterol can also be revealed through skin image analysis.
Unfortunately, most people will not experience symptoms of high cholesterol. This makes the only way to measure blood cholesterol levels is to do a blood test.
