The ordinary election general assembly of the Turkish Basketball Federation has concluded.
Hidayet Türkoğlu, who received the votes of 108 out of 171 delegates, was re-elected as the president of the Turkish Basketball Federation. Among the candidates, Harun Erdenay got 42 votes and Erman Kunter got 21 votes.
Türkoğlu, in his statement after the general assembly, said that they will work to bring Turkish basketball to a better place for the next 3 years.
“First of all, I would like to thank our entire community with my sincere wishes. There have been things we have done well in this process, we have made mistakes. You have appreciated us here again. I want to promise that we will work better with my whole team for the next 3 years. I hope we will bring Turkish basketball to a better place. “
