Heroin and cocaine found in phone shop in West

Mayor Halsema has a phone shop at the Clercq Street closed in West. Officers had previously found hard drugs there.

It concerned a ‘trade quantity’ of heroin and cocaine. In addition, packaging materials and a seal bag device were found. The closure is intended to restore public order.

A photo taken by a local police officer shows that several posters have been pasted on the store with the text ‘premises closed by order of the mayor’. The building will remain closed for six months.

It is not the only closure by the municipality today. A house on Eef Kamerbeekstraat on Zeeburgereiland had to close for three months because the house was used as a cannabis nursery.
