PT Hero Supermarket Tbk (HERO) continued its poor performance in 2020. Over the past year the company suffered losses of up to Rp 1.2 trillion.
Citing the disclosure of information, Thursday (11/3/2021), the incision of the loss was far worse than that of 2019 amounting to IDR 33.18 billion. Even if calculated the increase in losses reached 3,570%.
Throughout 2020 HERO only managed to pocket a net income of Rp.8.89 trillion. This figure decreased compared to the previous year’s IDR 12.18 trillion.
The actual cost of revenue decreased from IDR 8.73 trillion in 2019 to IDR 6.49 trillion. However, operating expenses increased from Rp 3.49 trillion to Rp 3.55 trillion.
Then the financial costs also increased drastically from Rp. 4.9 billion in 2019 to Rp. 112.69 billion.
Total assets HERO also experienced a reduction from IDR 6 trillion at the end of 2019 to IDR 4.84 trillion at the end of 2020.
Meanwhile, total liabilities increased from Rp 2.39 trillion at the end of 2019 to Rp 2.98 trillion at the end of 2020.
