Here’s who hits Russia’s shoulder in the war with Ukraine VIDEO

The breakaway Georgian self-proclaimed republic of South Ossetia announced today that it has sent troops to Ukraine to “help and protect Russia”. This happened on the 31st day of the Russian invasion, AFP reported.

“Our boys will fulfill their military duty under the proudly raised flags,” the head of the self-proclaimed republic, Anatoly Bibilov, wrote in a telegram. He said the soldiers “understand very well that they are going to defend Russia, that they are also going to defend South Ossetia”.

“If fascism is not crushed far beyond our borders, it will reappear here tomorrow,” Bibilov added, using a phrase similar to that used by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who spoke of “denazification” of Ukraine.

Bibilov did not specify the number of troops to be stationed in Ukraine, but uploaded a video on social media showing several trucks already on their way to Ukraine.

Consumers from Ukraine report on social networks that military units with Ossetian flags have already been spotted in the city of Melitopol, which is completely occupied by the Russian military.

In 2008, Russia launched a devastating attack on Georgia, rushing to the aid of the self-proclaimed republic of South Ossetia, recalls AFP. This war left more than 700 killed and tens of thousands displaced.
