KH Sofwan Nizhomi has provided clarification to the police regarding his video lecture which said PPKM prevented Eid al-Adha from going viral on social media. Sofwan is now asking the public to comply with the PPKM rules set by the government.
“On this very short occasion, I convey to all of the congregation, that facing a very precarious condition right now, please pray but while still paying attention to very strict health procedures,” said Sofwan during a clarification in the video received, Wednesday (7/7). /7/2021).
In his clarification video, Sofwan asked the public to obey the PPKM rules set by the government. Sofwan NIzhomi emphasized that this PPKM rule was made so that the community was safe.
“So please worship but still pay attention to the PPKM provisions that have been imposed by the government solely for the benefit of all of us, our worship for our afterlife, the prokes, the PPKM, for the safety of our world. So together we bring these two things together – same, continue to worship but still adhere to the PPKM that has been implemented by our government,” he said.
He hoped that the healthy people and Indonesia would be free from the Corona pandemic. He also advised people to stay at home on July 20, it is known that July 20 is Eid al-Adha.
