With Bootcamp it is easily possible to run Windows on your Mac as well Mac OSX. Normally you do this with Windows 10, because Windows 10X still has to be released. Even before the release, a developer managed to install the new operating system on a Mac and on a Microsoft Surface Go.
This is by the way two developers who have nothing to do with each other. The one got Windows 10X talking on a Mac, the other the system on a Surface Go. They did this with a Windows 10X emulator. This was released earlier this week by Microsoft. Both parties were able to create their own image so that the version also runs on non-Windows devices.
It is not a matter of just picking up the other computer and installing it. You have to use head-to-head to get things going. So do not experiment on a device with important data. If it goes wrong, chances are that you will have to format the disk. And that would be a shame if it had to happen on a computer or device with important information on it. (through The Verge)
