The demand for this type of equipment is small, which is why almost 3 years have passed since the premiere of its predecessor. However, Samsung has not forgotten about the niche of resistant tablets, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 can be quite an interesting device. Thanks to one of the certifications, we got to know its appearance.
The frames are thick and they scare you with sizes in 2020, but in this case it is not important. A firm grip and resistance to damage are important. We also enjoy the presence of physical Android function buttons and the raised contour of the housing, which should protect the screen when falling. The display itself has a diagonal of 8 inches, FullHD resolution and is made in IPS LCD technology.

The specification is also not a priority, because no one buys a resistant tablet with new games in mind. The heart of the device will be the Exynos 9610, which even powered Samsunga Galaxy A50. This is not a bad SoC, and in combination with 4 GB RAM it will translate into a reasonable work culture. 64 or 128 GB is allocated for user data, the whole thing works on Android 10, and the tablet will be available in WiFi and LTE versions.
When it comes to security, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 meets the military resistance standard MIL STD 810G, and has been protected against water and dust in the IP68 standard.
Interestingly, the tablet is to offer support for the S Pen stylus – a very useful feature if you think about using it in conditions where it is difficult to clean and dry hands. The battery has a sensible 5050 mAh, which with such a screen diagonal and an energy-saving processor should provide a reasonable working time without recharging.
