The Red Cross is soon organizing new blood drives in the province of Namur.
There will be one in Rochefort (registration required), at the Sainte Thérèse room, at the intersection of rue de Navaugle and rue de Dinant, on Thursday May 12 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; in Assesse (on registration) in a collection van in the Avient car park, rue Melville Wilson 2, on Thursday May 12 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; at Courrière, salle Cécilia, rue du Fays 32, Friday May 13 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; in Dinant, in a collection van in a car park behind the apartment buildings 34-36 La Pommeraie, rue du Grand Pré in Herbuchenne, on Friday 13 May from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.; in Philippeville (registration required), at the Maison de la Croix Rouge, boulevard de l’enseignement 1, Monday May 16 from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.; at the Maison de village de Morialmé, on the Grand Place, Monday May 16 from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and Tuesday May 17 from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.; in Gembloux (registration required), at the Foyer communal, place Arthur Lacroix 50, Wednesday 18 May from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; and in Dinant, at Collège Notre-Dame, place Roi Albert 1er 11, on Wednesday 18 May from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
In addition, a blood service is open every week at rue des Dames Blanches 34 in Namur. The hours are as follows: Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the last Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Donations of blood, plasma and platelets are made by appointment at 081/22.10.10.
