The Xbox Series X will have the right to its optimized games, specially designed to fully exploit its capabilities. The console is backward compatible with all other Microsoft machines, a logo will signal a title developed for the Series X. Here is the list of softwares concerned.

The Xbox Series X is expected to run all games from previous Microsoft consoles. The manufacturer wants to erase the gap between two generations and backward compatibility. However, the Redmond company promises titles designed to exploit all the capabilities of the Series X and we have the list today.
These products, which were designed primarily for the console, will be reported with a small green logo simply stating “Optimized for Series X”. They will be more beautiful, but will also rotate at 120 frames per second. They can be displayed in native 4K and will offer ray-tracing. The loading times will be drastically reduced.
Old games also concerned
The games developed first for the Series X are affected, like the next Halo Infinite which should come out at the same time as the console. Technical demos supposed to show what the machine has in its belly. Titles developed for the previous generation can also display this logo. Developers can indeed improve existing software by fully exploiting the Series X. This will be the case with Cyberpunk 2077, but also older titles like Gears 5 or Destiny 2.
