Nine miles of skiing from Berga By in Sälen to Mora is what awaits the thousands of skiers who take on the Vasaloppet on Sunday.
Around 40 skiers from our region plan to ski the world’s largest long-distance race. Below is the list of all of them.
Some of them stand out a little extra in terms of the number of Vasalopp they have ridden. Eric Rollborn, Västerviks OK, has carried out the most. Rollborn has finished in no less than 39 Vasa races. Impressive to say the least!
Several others also have many strong Vasalopps efforts behind them. Anders Hultman, Södra Vi IF, has managed 31, Peter Karlsson from Hjortens SK has made 29 Vasalopp and Patric Karlsson, Hultsfreds LK, has finished 23 times. Among the women, it is Emma Roos Simonsson, Södra Vi IF, who stands out with 20 completed Vasalopp.
