About a year ago I made a short filmed titled Hiraeth, in my opinion, it could’ve been better. I wrote the script quickly and mainly made the film for class, however, after finishing the script for Hiraeth I decided to write something for myself, a new film. I had no intention of actually filming it. I recently finished the screenplay for it, nearly a year later. I also made a new friend who coincidentally had the same name as the main character in my screenplay, I knew I had to make the film when he said he wanted to star in it. After going over the script with my cast members and hearing their feedback, I think it’s finally time for me to make a film where I have zero censorship, I’m in control. There were certain things I couldn’t say, or do in Hiraeth since it was in fact for school. I can finally do what I want to do with this new film. I’m asking for help with my passion in order to put out something that means a lot to me. It’s going to take a lot of work, but trust me when I say it’s going to be worth it. I will not let you down.
