Düsseldorf – It got Christmassy on TV on Monday (December 25th). After a three-year break, the “Helene Fischer Show” finally aired again in prime time on ZDF. Sat.1, on the other hand, relied on the tried and tested and showed the classic “Kevin – Alone in New York”. But which program was the most convincing in the ratings duel?

There were all sorts of emotions again on the ZDF show. Among other things, Helene Fischer (39) fought back tears in a duet with a sick child star. The comeback of the Schlagerqueen format was already being looked forward to – this is also reflected in the ratings.

With 5.02 million viewers and a rating of 20.7 percent among the total audience, the Schlagerqueen and ZDF won the day. “Kevin – Alone in New York,” on the other hand, had 2.84 million viewers and a rating of 11.3 percent.
Narrow victory in the ratings race between Helene Fischer and “Kevin – Alone in New York” among the younger generation
The race was closer with the younger audience. In the target group of 14 to 49 year olds, ZDF reached 1.16 million people (21.2 percent) with the “Helene Fischer Show”. The music show was only just ahead. “Kevin – Alone in New York” was close on Helene Fischer’s heels with 1.14 million viewers (20.6 percent).

Helene Fischer wasn’t just celebrated in front of the TV. The recording took place at the beginning of December and attracted a lot of fans to the Düsseldorf exhibition hall. Even a “Bares für Rares” star was spotted in the audience at the “Helene Fischer Show”. Sources used: dwdl.de
