Damietta governorate experienced relatively stable weather today, with a slight rise in the water level of the Nile River, as well as a noticeable drop in temperatures and wind speeds, but a wave of bad weather suddenly hit the governorate shortly does.
Dr. Manal Awad had given strict instructions regarding the implementation of the emergency rain reception plan, which resulted in the spreading of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation Equipment on the streets of the governorate and the immediate management of any accumulations resulting from the rain, in addition to the intensification of rainwater purification campaigns and the opening of traffic axes in the areas affected by redevelopment interventions to avoid congestion.
And the governor of Damietta noted that the operations room is constantly convened to continuously follow any emergencies that arise as a result of possible rains and deal with them immediately, as well as allocating numbers to receive complaints from citizens.
