Al-Marsad newspaper: Cardiology and vascular disease consultant, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, narrated the moment of the death of his colleague, the doctor, after he asked his neighbor for help, but he left him to fight “Corona” out of fear for his family.
Al-Nimr said during his interview on the Al-Rased program on the channel: One doctor was infected with a fever and Corona. He was at home, and his wife worked in the hospital. He took medications, but his condition did not ease. He called the ambulance and said, “Come, take me to the hospital. I cannot breathe.”
He continued: Because the ambulance was so crowded and under pressure, they told him they would save you, but it might take 20 or 30 minutes.
He added: The doctor knocked on his neighbor’s door and told him to take it to the hospital, but his neighbor apologized to him and told him, “You know, I have children and a wife, and I don’t want to expose them to the risk of infection because the virus spreads in the car.”
He added: The neighbor closed his door in front of his sick neighbor, so the doctor got out and got into his car and tried to reach the hospital, but he died in his car.
