Dr. Hossam Hosni, Chairman of the Scientific Committee to Fight Corona at the Ministry of Health, said that Egypt has become the only country in the Middle East to produce all Corona drugs locally, pointing out that the Russian and American drugs will be available for Corona patients after conducting clinical trials.
He added, during a phone call to the “citizen’s program” presented by the journalist Syed Ali Al-Mazha on Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel, that within a few weeks the results of the clinical trials of the American medicine that will be manufactured locally will appear.
He stressed that within two weeks there will be a drug: “a pure and effective Egyptian to treat the Corona virus,” noting that all the experiments that were conducted on this drug have good initial results, commenting: “I am optimistic that Egypt will go beyond this epidemic soon.”
