Health insurance glasses from John Lennon cost 48,000 euros

If only you had saved that Beatles single you bought with your pocket money. At the British auction house Sotheby’s is a copy of their first picture Love me do namely sold for about 33,000 euros. It was a signed single, which always drives up the price. The single was one of a total of sixty Beatles items that went under the hammer in recent days.

John Lennon’s former housekeeper sold one of his iconic, simple round glasses for $ 48,000. A guitar and autographs from The Fab Four were also sold at the same auction.
