In Poland, there is often no blood for transfusion. This time, the former Lech Poznań forward Piotr Reiss informed about it. His dad Henryk has health problems and his blood group is missing. Hence, he made an appeal to the fans.

The appeal of the Lech legend
– My folks. I have never made such a request before, but the situation is exceptional and urgent. My dad, Henryk, is in the hospital and he needs blood to be transfused. (…) Therefore, I am asking you to donate this kind of blood (0 RH-). I will be eternally grateful – wrote Reiss.
The former footballer’s father is in the hospital. Blood for him can be donated at the Blood Donation Station at Marcelińska Street in Poznan.
Piotr Reiss is a legendary footballer “Kolejorz“. For Lech He played 275 matches, in which he scored 101 goals, and added 73 assists. He was the king of shooters top league in the 2006/2007 season (15 goals). He won the Polish Cup twice and the Polish Super Cup once. He has appeared four times in the Polish national team. After finishing his career, he started training children.
