The Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Hala Zayed, revealed that the case of the new corona virus, which was announced today, Friday, is for a 33-year-old foreigner residing in Egypt.
The Minister of Health, in her remarks on Thursday evening, said that a pregnant woman who is infected with the Corona virus without symptoms does not infect those around him, noting that this is according to what the World Health Organization announced.
She explained that the discovery of the case came through the survey being carried out by the Ministry of Health, where the analysis was repeated 3 times in a row and all of them confirmed that the person is a carrier of the disease and is not sick, and he has no symptoms.
The minister emphasized that the virus carrier has been transferred to the isolation hospital designated for that, adding that his contacts are being dealt with, explaining that there are 3 young people living with in the residence, 6 people who deal with them indirectly, and 8 others who deal with them indirectly and all of them are subject to strict preventive measures And the virus was not discovered in any of them.
