Road saw Port Said Damietta is a collision between a transport vehicle and a minibus loaded with investment workers heading to Damietta Governorate, after they finished their work in a factory already ready-made in the investment zone in Port Said.
The accident resulted in the death of 22 people and the injury of 7 others from Damietta Governorate. All ambulances went to the scene to evacuate the site from the injured.
In a related context, as soon as the level of preparedness was raised in all hospitals, Al Salam Hospital received 17 dead bodies and 4 injured, Al Tadamun Hospital also received 2 injured people, Al Zuhour Hospital received 3 dead bodies, and the Fever Hospital received 2 deaths.
All deaths were preserved in the mentioned hospital morgue until their identity was recognized, and the medical team consisting of surgery, orthopedics and intensive care started with the participation of the nursing team to examine the cases and provide the necessary initial medical service.
A statement from the Port Said Health Department a short time ago stated that with a preliminary examination it was found that all cases suffer from a suspected post-concussion, isolated cut wounds throughout the body, severe bruises and abrasions, including one case of a patient suffering from a pelvic fracture and the injured are the following:
1- Noura Ali Al-Fayoumi, 24 years old, Al-Salam Hospital, post-concussion suspicion.
2- Hadia Ahmed El-Ezaby, 28 years old, As-Salam Hospital – post-concussion suspicion.
3- Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud, 30 years old, Al Salam Hospital – bruising, abrasions and separate wounds in the body.
4- Nada Muhammad Al-Imam, 20 years old, Al Salam Hospital.
5- Ashraf Helmy Ghazouli, 47 years old, Al Zohour Hospital – broken bones in the pelvis.
6- Ijlal Desouki, 41, Solidarity Hospital, post-concussion suspicion.
7- Laila Abdul Jalil Fouad, 20 years old, Al-Tadamun Hospital – bruises, abrasions, and concussion.
All unidentified deaths were kept at the disposal of the Public Prosecution until they were identified and burial permits were issued.
