Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 17 new cases that proved positive for its new Corona virus, and were discovered within the Ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the number of infections in Egypt to 110 cases.
The ministry said in a statement today, that the cases include 3 cases of foreigners of different nationalities, 14 Egyptians, including two cases returning from abroad, one from Saudi Arabia and the other from the Emirates, and the rest of those in contact with the positive cases that were discovered and announced in advance.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the ministry, indicated that the total number of infected people who have been registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today is 110 cases, including 21 cases that have been cured and discharged from the isolation hospital, and only two deaths (case The Egyptian woman who died on Thursday, 12 March, and the other of the German who died on March 8).
