Vittorio Boiocchi, the head ultrà of Inter, 69, was killed in an ambush that took place in the early evening in Figino, on the western outskirts of Milan. Boiocchi, a multiple-judge, with 26 years in prison, was hit by 5 gunshots that hit him in the chest and neck in via Fratelli Zanzottera, not far from his home. He died in an ambulance while they were transporting him to the San Carlo hospital. The Mobile Police squad led by Marco Calì investigates the murder; two people would have fired, then fled by motorbike. The ambush took place just before the Inter-Sampdoria match at the San Siro stadium. Curva Nord withdrew the banners during the match, no longer sang and at the end of the first half it emptied.

As reported by the Corriere della Sera, Boiocchi had in the past had 10 definitive sentences for association aimed at international drug trafficking, criminal conspiracy, carrying and illegal possession of weapons, robbery, kidnapping and theft. He had served a total of 26 years in prison.
