The Grenoble police officers intervened, around 1:30 am on the night of Monday 22 to Tuesday 23 February, at the home of a couple in the process of divorce, avenue du Général-Leclerc in Saint-Martin-le-Vinoux.

During a heated argument, the 22-year-old man beat his 24-year-old wife before attempting to strangle her. Supported by firefighters, the victim was taken to the CHU Grenoble Alpes and had to file a complaint when he left the hospital.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
