The 50-year-old had gone to the hospital during the day to undergo medical examinations. But, while the mask is still mandatory in hospitals, the man refused to wear it. His tone rose again when he, after passing the exam, this time he refused to have the electrodes placed on his chest removed. Due to the patient’s bad mood, a security guard was called to the scene. The 50-year-old then attacked equipment around him, before beating up the security guard.
Finally brought under control thanks to the arrival of the police, he denied the charges against him, explaining that he only reacted after being attacked by five security guards. A version, however, denied by the nurse present at the time of the events. He was then referred to the public prosecutor’s office in Liège, where an arrest warrant was requested against him.
