He is already rushing against Jews again – News Zurich: Region

Last February Kevin G. refined before the judge. The 32-year-old neo-Nazi and singer of the band Amok told the Zurich High Court that he had said goodbye to the hard core of the extreme right-wing scene. «I definitely took it to extremes. That’s why I was convicted – and rightly so. ”His defense lawyer also pleaded for acquittal. That was of little use. The judge sentenced Kevin G. to 12 months in prison for racial discrimination.

Kevin G. is allowed to serve this in semi-captivity – so that the practicing butcher does not fall out of the social network, as the judge said when the verdict was pronounced. «We gave you one last chance. Take notice of them. »
Now it turns out that the Zurich Oberlander has by no means moderated.

The band Amok released a new album called “Teeren & Federn”, which has been available online for a few days. Past actions, for which Kevin G. was partially convicted, are glorified in the twelve songs available to the TA. The first line of text reads: «Amok is back, we are happy to hear from us. We also came to disturb the peace. »

Attack in Wiedikon

The song “Hippo Hunter” celebrates the crime for which the neo-Nazi has to serve his prison sentence. The action took place in July 2015. Kevin G. celebrated a bachelor party together with like-minded friends. The group used a red bus as a means of transportation. In Zurich-Wiedikon the situation escalated: the group mobbed an Orthodox Jew, spat on him, made Hitler salutes and shouted “Scheissjude” or “We will send you to Auschwitz!”. Civilians who intervened at the last moment could prevent worse. Kevin G. was later referred to the group leader in court.

His band Amok revives the incident. Jews are referred to as hippos, and the Nazi group as hunters: «They dared to do so in broad daylight. They spat, shoved, greeted, they almost killed him. “And later in the song:” We’ll take action and rock this hippo state (…) we will all come to a decision, soon it will roll again, the hippo hunter bus . »Lines calling for the repetition of the offense at that time.

The attack on a Jew is ridiculed in the booklet.

The band members are not named in the CD booklet. However, singer and founding member Kevin G. can be seen in one of the pictures, and some of the lyrics are about himself – with references to his previous places of residence, for example. The voice also sounds the same as on previous albums.

“The song by the band Amok is even linked to a real physical attack on a person.”Jonathan Kreutner, SIG General Secretary

The Swiss Community of Israelites (SIG) is concerned about the recent amok release. The association fears that the ideas could have real consequences at any time. “This song is even linked to a real physical attack on a person,” says SIG general secretary Jonathan Kreutner. The messages on the album are terrifying. “We expect the responsible authorities to make the necessary inquiries and take the appropriate steps.”

Jürg Krumm, Kevin G.’s defense lawyer, had no knowledge of the republishing. On request, he says: “I assume that the texts are not illegal.” The band has its texts checked by the German Federal Testing Agency for Media Harmful to Young Persons before publication – in order to ensure legal protection. He could not say whether Kevin G. had already started his prison sentence. The cantonal prison system cannot provide any information in this regard – it will remain closed until the new year.

Active in the scene for a long time

Kevin G. has been active in the neo-Nazi scene since the early nineties. He has been convicted several times and his contacts go beyond the national border. For example, to the German branches of the right-wing extremist network Blood & Honor. There is also a note of this on the current record: The booklet contains a group picture on which the group poses with a known representative of the network.

There are also indications that Kevin G. was a member of the band Mordkommando. A few years ago, the radical right-wing rock band called for the murder of Corine Mauch. The Zurich Mayor responded with a criminal complaint, which, however, fizzled.
