The Clos Citizens’ Council and the 3R association joined forces to give life to the neighborhood’s common garden, where fourteen large containers were placed for planting vegetables, flowers and aromatic herbs.
A composting workshop was due to take place on Wednesday afternoon but was canceled due to the risk of thunderstorms. A maintenance workshop was instead proposed for this garden.
Ludovic Le Bihan, technical supervisor of the 3R association, Catherine Jacquet, a volunteer of the 3Rs, and Jean-Michel Vanpoucke, a volunteer of the Clos city council, thus turned the fourteen bins to remove the weeds and water the various plantations.
“These workshops are intended for children from 6 years old. Parents are also welcome to participate in these activities. Despite the heat waves this summer, we were able to water thanks to our rainwater collector installed right next to the MPT des Clos, “said Ludovic Le Bihan.
