In the dispute over the Coronavirus safety distance, a 49-year-old in Lower Bavaria has threatened to fire a pistol.
A family of three apparently came too close to the man because, in his estimation, they had not kept the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 meters from him and his wife, the police said on Monday.
The 49-year-old took the gun out on Sunday afternoon during a dispute and showed it.
During the subsequent police check it turned out that he had a small gun license. However, he did not carry it with him as required. Criminal proceedings were initiated against him.
