Regular season leader struck hard in game 2 of playoff 2 quarter-finalse ice hockey league. The HC Delémont-Vallée did not go wild in Tuesday evening at Saignelégier and won 8-0 in front of the HC Franches-Montagnes reserve, 8e ranking, in this series to the best of five matches. The Delémontains were already leading 2-0 after eight minutes of play and took off after mid-game to lead 4-0 in the second third.
HCFM II still suffers in the last third
The Franc-Montagnard reserve changed guard at 49e minute after three new HCDV goals fell within four minutes. This did not prevent the HCDV from planting a last banner at 56e to sign a resounding card at the start of the play-off. Jérôme Choffat and Dylan Marquis each offered a double, the other goals being the work of Jonas Zinkl, Léo Gygax, Arnaud Neukomm and Loris Schluchter. Act II will take place this Thursday at 8 p.m. in Delémont.
HC Tramelan also enforces hierarchy
In the other regional derby of the playoff quarter-finals, HC Tramelan, 2e of the regular season, also upheld the hierarchy by easily disposing of the HC Moutier 5-1 at the Zurich Arena.
