HCB Südtirol Alperia Extends Contract with Defender Dylan Di Perna for Another Year

HCB Südtirol Alperia announces that it has extended the contract of 26-year-old Italo-Canadian defender Dylan Di Perna by another year. Another confirmation in the white-red house, where the sports department is working flat out to put together the squad for the 2023/24 season between contract extensions and potential new arrivals.

Di Perna has been an important component of the white-red defense for several years: after his university years in Canada, he came to the city of Talfer in 2020, was immediately appreciated by the audience for his commitment and reached the final with his teammates right away. The following year was not easy for him, as he was loaned out to the Rittner Buam in the course of the season in order to gain more match practice in the AlpsHL, where he made 23 appearances between the championship and the playoffs. Due to his good performances, he was called up for the Italian national team, with which he contested the World Championships in the top division in 2022 and ranked among the top 3 players in the Azzurri. In the season that has just ended, Di Perna returned to Bolzano and fought for a regular jersey alongside Scott Valentine, whom he will also meet again next season: he had 7 assists in 58 games. Between championship and In the Champions Hockey League, Di Perna has made 145 appearances in the white and red jersey.
